Healthy families
Healthy Families is a program that provides support to families who are expecting a baby up until the child is school-age.

All families want the best for their children. Your Healthy Families worker will support you in making parenting more enjoyable and less stressful. Your worker will become someone that you can count on. They can help you decide what you want out of life, and then work with you to get it!
With the Healthy Families program, you will work together to:
- explore what’s important to your family,
- explore what you want for your child,
- support you to build a safe and healthy environment, and
- provide interesting information and fun activities to strengthen your child’s growth and development
Where and when do visits occur?
Usually, your Healthy Families worker will visit with you in your home once a week. Visits usually happen less often as your child grows and develops. Transportation can be provided to medical appointments.
How much does it cost?
Healthy Families services are FREE.
